In addition to per diem Controller Tuning and Process Control Troubleshooting services, Lambda Controls offers the following structured Process Control Optimization services:

• Process and Control System Performance Evaluation and Optimization:
  • Evaluates process variability within a specific process area;
  • Identifies sources of excess process variability and opportunities for process control improvement;
  • Optimizes the control system for variability reduction, through controller tuning adjustments, where appropriate;
  • Generates a report documenting findings and recommendations to minimize the remaining sources of excess variability.
• Control Valve Dynamic Performance Evaluation:
  • Tests control valves in a process area, focusing on valves with the biggest impact on reliability and product quality;
  • Identifies control valves causing excess variability which should be scheduled for maintenance during a shut-down.
